About Ten Seconds

Located at 3429 Toringdon Way, Charlotte, NC 28277, Ten Seconds operates as a chinese noodle serving Charlotte in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (704) 919-0086. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, tensecondscharlotte.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 281 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese noodle in Charlotte and suggests consistent service.

Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Charlotte follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

First time at this restaurant. Have a friend who is really into Asian foods and we stopped in. We were greeted right away and invited to sit. It wasn't crowded for late Sunday afternoon. I just had spring rolls and a strawberry fruit tea. Both were yummy. My friend got the Original Hot Pot. Comes with many toppings (see video). She also ordered Takayaki. She seemed to really enjoy it! Pros: 1) She said it was a nice portion size compared to other places she'd been to. 2) Restaurant was clean, with simple cultural decor, and 3) the staff were attentive and friendly. Cons: 1) There's plenty of parking on the weekends. During the week it is in a business park and I imagine it would be crowded. 2) The soup base comes out bubbling hot, but she said it cools down quickly. Only reason she recommended 4 stars is because she felt like the sides needed a larger selection if it were for someone who eats more or is a picky eater.

The beef pieces in my noodle soup were over cooked a little, but otherwise delicious. LOVE the soup. I got spicy beef flank rice noodle soup. Very cool system of making food, excellent selection of specialty items like bbq skewers, popcorn chicken, fried buns with sweet condensed milk etc. The server was warm and attentive. Will go again!!

I went with my daughter to Ten Seconds in Ballantyne. Their specialty is Hot Pot Soups and Szechuan Pepper Soup. They have several different base for the broth like spicy, sour spicy, pickled pepper and tomato. They also offer exquisite hot and cold appetizers. They all the real deal if you’re looking for an authentic experience, and so far, best Hot Pot in Charlotte for me. Highly recommended!

My wife and I have been coming to the place for almost 3 years now and we are still enjoying it like the first time! The traditional rice noodle is so fresh, hot, spicy with all the ingredients...it's truly a special treat. The staff are wonderful and they always remember what dish we like. We highly recommend Ten Seconds to anyone!!

Went for the first time and the food was delicious. There are a lot of options to choose from but I decided to go with the Spicy Slice Beef Rice Noodle and the Spicy Sour Cucumbers! The broth was sooo good and with everything added in, it was such a good first meal there. The service was super fast and very nice. Will definitely come again to try other items!
